As a skateboarder from the "hood", Qasimia, Sharjah. It's significantly harder to get the appropriate recognition and I'm referring to the big guys (Nike, Redbull, Vans, etc.) not the free shawarmas from the street cafeterias.

So, having a proper social media presence and consistently show-casing high-quality content is essential.

We at DryTape understand the struggles of putting in those long hours and getting the occasional free paratha and Karak, that's why we teamed up with Mayar Diab a street skateboarding legend to create a storyline of the love-hate relationship of a skateboarder and their skateboard.
